In Spain we select garbage in colors:

• yellow (plastic and metal packagings -also bags and cans-)
• green (glass packagings)
• blue (paper and cardboard)
• brown (organic: fruit and vegetable skin or bread)
• grey (waste: everything not stated before)

In the kitchen there is a metallic tin for waste and next to it behind the sliding undulated door special packages in the colors stated above.
Taking garbage outside it’s easy. Trash cans in yellow, green, blue, brown and grey can be found between the metro lift and the stairs, below the traffic light.

Air conditioning should be the last option for accommodating your home since it wastes much energy and therefore resources (every grade you go lower, the waste increases 8%). Besides that, it’s proved not to be healthy and may cause a sore throat (Naomi Cambell even says air conditioning causes wrinkles!).

Those are some reasons why before using air conditioning you may try first:

• the blinds during the day (also the awning at the balcony)
• the fans in strategic spots
• opening the windows to cause cross ventilation in fresh hours (21:00hr to 8:00hr)
  If still need air conditioning, you may take these recommendations:
• keep doors and windows closed to make the machine-space relation more efficient
• for a healthy use it is recommended to keep the difference heat IN/OUT lower than 10º (in summer outside temperature may reach the 35º)
• use the air conditioning with no obstacles in front (make sure you move the curtains to the sides)
• use temperature between 24-26º
• use the air conditioning during two hours at the maximum
• switch it off at night to avoid sore throat
• make sure you switch off the air conditioning when you leave the apartment

We believe in a logical and sustainable use of natural resources. That is the reason our prices include the recommended expenses reference of Water (4m3/person/month;16m3/4people; 24m3/6people), Gas (180kwh/2people/month; 16m3/4people; 24m3/6people) and Electricity (175kwh/2peopl/month; 320kwh/4people; 400kwh/6people).
All these complexity is translated in a logic use of resources like: taking 5 minutes daily shower, switch off AC and lights when leaving the apartment, use cross ventilation and fans before using air conditioning, use air conditioning not lower than 23º, use heating only when being at the apartment, use washing machine when there’s enough clothes to fill it up…

You may take off the card next to the front door to make sure all lights are off when you leave.
This does not affect the appliances or phones you might have switched in.
Be aware that this does not affect the air conditioning, then make sure again you have switched the air conditioning off.

To turn it on, first make sure it is fully loaded with dishes; then, use soap tablet and brightener; choose the 50% program (big circle bottom on the right); push the left button Apagado/Encendido and finally push Play (middle button).
When the program is finished; before opening the door, make sure to push the left button Apagado/Encendido to switch it off. Then, you may open the door to put dishes back to place and serve your meals again!

To turn it on, first make sure you have enough clothes to fill it; then, put the clothes inside; open the left top drawer, using soap on the big bucket and softener on the bucket to the maximum level specified; after that, choose the program frío to the left and push the start button. That is the most economical program using cold water and taking one hour.
